Women’s Health is a therapeutic area that focuses on health issues specific to women, encompassing a wide range of conditions related to the female reproductive system, pregnancy, and general health. This includes gynecological disorders, breast cancer, menopause, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease, among others. Despite its importance, women’s health has historically been underrepresented in clinical research, leading to gaps in knowledge and treatment options. Clinical research organizations (CROs) are increasingly recognizing the need for focused research in women’s health to develop targeted therapies and improve healthcare outcomes for women.
