Ventricular arrhythmias are abnormal heart rhythms originating from the ventricles, the lower chambers of the heart. They include conditions such as ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation, which can be life-threatening if not treated promptly. Symptoms may include palpitations, dizziness, chest pain, and loss of consciousness. Treatment options include medications, electrical cardioversion, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and catheter ablation.
