Vascular Stent

A vascular stent is a small, expandable mesh tube inserted into a narrowed or blocked blood vessel to keep it open. Stents are commonly used in arteries affected by atherosclerosis to improve blood flow and prevent complications such as heart attacks and strokes. They can be placed in various parts of the vascular system, including coronary arteries, peripheral arteries, and carotid arteries.
