Uvea

The uvea is the middle layer of the eye, consisting of the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. It contains blood vessels that supply nutrients to the eye. The uvea plays a crucial role in controlling light entry through the pupil and focusing the eye. Inflammation of the uvea, known as uveitis, can lead to vision loss if untreated.
