Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocyte (TIL) therapy is a type of immunotherapy that involves isolating lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell) from a patient’s tumor, expanding them in the lab, and reinfusing them into the patient. TILs are naturally occurring immune cells that have infiltrated the tumor. This therapy aims to enhance the body’s immune response against cancer by increasing the number of tumor-specific T-cells.
