Skin Lesion

A skin lesion is an area of abnormal skin that appears different from the surrounding tissue. Lesions can be primary (directly caused by disease) or secondary (resulting from the evolution of primary lesions). Examples include moles, warts, rashes, ulcers, and tumors. Diagnosis and treatment depend on the type and cause of the lesion.
