Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder characterized by distorted thinking, perceptions, emotions, language, sense of self, and behavior. Symptoms include hallucinations, delusions, disorganized speech and behavior, and cognitive impairments. Treatment typically involves antipsychotic medications, psychotherapy, and supportive services.
