Renal Failure

Renal failure, or kidney failure, is a condition where the kidneys lose their ability to filter waste products and excess fluids from the blood. It can be acute (sudden onset) or chronic (progressive loss of function). Treatment includes dialysis, medications, and in severe cases, kidney transplantation.
