Placebo Controlled Study

A placebo-controlled study is a type of clinical trial where the effects of a new treatment are compared to a placebo. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the active treatment or the placebo, allowing researchers to assess the treatment’s true efficacy and safety by eliminating bias and the placebo effect.
