Pinworm & Whipworm

Pinworm and whipworm are intestinal parasites that infect humans. Pinworm (Enterobius vermicularis) causes itching around the anus and is common in children. Whipworm (Trichuris trichiura) causes abdominal pain, diarrhea, and weight loss. Both infections are treated with antiparasitic medications.
