Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD)

Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) refers to disorders affecting blood vessels outside the heart and brain, including arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels. It encompasses conditions such as peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and chronic venous insufficiency. PVD can lead to pain, swelling, and ulcers in the affected limbs.
