Omics

Omics refers to the collective technologies used to explore the roles, relationships, and actions of various types of molecules that make up the cells of an organism. Examples include genomics (study of genes), proteomics (study of proteins), and metabolomics (study of metabolites). Omics technologies are used to understand complex biological systems and develop personalized medicine approaches.
