Neuromuscular Medicine

Neuromuscular medicine is a subspecialty of neurology and physical medicine that focuses on diagnosing and treating disorders of the peripheral nervous system, including motor neurons, peripheral nerves, neuromuscular junctions, and muscles. Conditions treated include muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
