Myocardial Infarction

A myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when blood flow to a part of the heart muscle is blocked, usually by a blood clot, causing damage to the heart tissue. Symptoms include chest pain, shortness of breath, and nausea. Immediate treatment is critical to restore blood flow and minimize heart damage.
