Myasthenia Gravis

Myasthenia Gravis is an autoimmune neuromuscular disorder characterized by weakness and rapid fatigue of voluntary muscles. It occurs when antibodies interfere with the communication between nerves and muscles. Symptoms include drooping eyelids, double vision, and difficulty swallowing. Treatment options include medications, immunotherapy, and sometimes surgery.
