Leukocytes

Leukocytes, or white blood cells, are cells of the immune system involved in protecting the body against infections and foreign invaders. There are several types of leukocytes, including neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils, each with specific functions in the immune response.
