Hives

Hives, also known as urticaria, are itchy, raised welts on the skin that can vary in size and shape. They are often caused by an allergic reaction to food, medication, or other triggers. Hives can appear anywhere on the body and typically resolve on their own, but antihistamines and other treatments may be used to alleviate symptoms.
