Histamine receptors

Histamine receptors are proteins located on the surface of certain cells that bind to histamine, a chemical involved in immune responses, gastric acid secretion, and neurotransmission. There are four types of histamine receptors (H1, H2, H3, and H4), each with different roles and effects in the body.
