High-Dose Radiation Therapy (HDR)

High-dose radiation therapy (HDR) is a form of radiation treatment that delivers a high dose of radiation to a targeted area, such as a tumor, in a short period. HDR is often used in brachytherapy, where the radiation source is placed inside or near the treatment area, minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissues.
