Hepatology is the branch of medicine focused on the study, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and disorders affecting the liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, and pancreas. Hepatologists manage conditions such as hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, and fatty liver disease.
