Hair Follicle

A hair follicle is a small tubular cavity in the skin from which a hair grows. Each hair follicle is connected to a sebaceous gland and a tiny muscle called the arrector pili. Hair follicles play a crucial role in the hair growth cycle and are involved in conditions like hair loss and hirsutism.
