Heart failure (HF) is a condition in which the heart’s ability to pump blood is impaired, leading to insufficient blood flow to meet the body’s needs. It can result from various underlying conditions, such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, and cardiomyopathy. Symptoms include shortness of breath, fatigue, and fluid retention. Treatment involves medications, lifestyle changes, and sometimes surgical interventions.
