One of the key ways we achieve this is through our involvement in industry conferences, where we proudly make contributions to various charitable organizations.

Integrating Philanthropy into Our Conference Strategy 

We believe that every conference is an opportunity not just to share knowledge and build professional networks but also to make a tangible difference in the world. To this end, TFS CRO has integrated a philanthropic component into our conference strategy.

 

Supporting Causes Aligned with Conference Themes

For every industry conference TFS attends, we commit to donating to a charity that aligns with the event’s theme or focus area. For example, at the AAD 2024 conference, we raised over US$1,000 for the American Academy of Dermatology. Similarly, at ARVO 2024, we contributed over US$1,000 to EyeCare America, and we raised over EU€500 for the Alzheimer’s Society during Outsourcing Clinical Trials (OCT) Europe 2024. By linking our conference participation to charitable giving, we are able to support vital research and community efforts across a variety of health science fields.  

Charitable Contributions Through Booth Engagement

Our philanthropic efforts are further enhanced by involving conference attendees in the donation process. Every interaction at our booth contributes to our chosen charitable cause, transforming networking conversations into impactful acts of generosity. Visiting our booth is not only valuable for us, but we ensure it is valuable for our visitors as well. Attendees leave our booth not only with new insights and connections but also with the satisfaction of knowing their engagement has contributed to a worthy cause. 

Amplifying Impact Through Charity Campaigns

In addition to our conference-related donations, TFS actively organizes and participates in charitable campaigns throughout the year. One such initiative, the TFS Together for Inclusive Innovation campaign, helped raise over US$2,000 for UNESCO. Another example is our TFS Together Initiative for World Cancer Day, which motivated more than 100 participants to walk, jog, or run a 5K, ultimately raising over US$1,000 for cancer research. TFS matched all employee contributions, resulting in a grand total of US$2,000 donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. 

Our commitment extends beyond monetary donations; in the spirit of our World Cancer Day initiatives, employees in Barcelona and Madrid participated in the esteemed Magic Line event, a solidarity initiative led by the renowned Barcelona Children’s Hospital Sant Joan de Déu. TFS is proud of our longstanding partnership with this hospital, and we were delighted to contribute more than EU€2,000 toward research in pediatric diseases. 

Looking ahead, we are excited to participate in a walk/run with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this September for National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Additionally, TFS promotes multiple corporate holiday campaigns throughout the year to further support various charitable organizations. 

 

A Global Commitment to Philanthropy 

In 2024 alone, TFS has raised over US$8,000.00 and EU€7,500.00 for a diverse range of charities, supporting organizations like Plan International, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Doctors Without Borders, and many others. Our contributions span the globe, aiding in the fight against various diseases, supporting children’s hospitals, and funding research that leads to life-saving treatments. 

 

Sustainability and Philanthropy: A Unified Approach 

Our commitment to philanthropy is closely tied to our dedication to sustainability. We have made strides in reducing our environmental footprint at conferences by minimizing the use of paper and single-use plastics. Our efforts have been recognized as we recently earned our fifth consecutive Silver Rating from EcoVadis for sustainability excellence.

These goals are deeply woven into the fabric of our business activities, driving us to make a positive impact in everything we do.
