Huntington’s Disease

Huntington’s disease is a progressive genetic disorder that causes the breakdown of nerve cells in the brain. It leads to motor dysfunction, cognitive decline, and psychiatric symptoms. The disease is caused by a mutation in the HTT gene and typically manifests in mid-adulthood. There is currently no cure, but treatments can help manage symptoms.
