Phase II

Phase II clinical trials involve a larger group of patients and aim to assess the drug’s efficacy and further evaluate its safety. These trials help determine the optimal dose and treatment regimen, as well as provide preliminary data on the drug’s therapeutic effects. Phase II trials are critical for deciding whether to proceed to larger, more definitive Phase III trials.
