Real-World Data (RWD) is information collected from sources outside of traditional clinical trials, including electronic health records (EHRs), claims and billing data, patient registries, and wearable devices. RWD provides insights into how treatments perform in routine clinical practice and helps inform regulatory decisions, healthcare policy, and clinical guidelines.
